Porcelanosa Fulham showroom Here’s one of our projects for Porcelanosa’s showroom in Fulham. We love working with these guys; all Porcelanosa’s project designs are very practical and modern but most importantly striking and beautiful. This compact, fully integrated kitchen showcases handle-less drawers, led spotlights and a display feature with seamless joins. The material of choice? Krion Deep Granite.
Kitchen Design in Tristone Milkshake This impressive kitchen space required a bespoke stylish but simplistic design to integrate its exposed beams and compliment the floor to ceiling windows and sky lights. Tristone Milkshake was the material of choice for this project delivering fantastic results at a cost effective price. Testimonial: DFMK were a huge help when it came to choosing worktops for my project. They provided excellent advise on colours and made suggestions to keep the cost down as much as possible. They kept me up to date throughout the whole process and were very flexible with their scheduling when I had to postpone the project. The chaps who templated and installed were terrific! They cleared up after themselves and talked me through how to keep my tops looking good for many years to come. I’m extremely happy with my tops! Thanks to all the DFMK team!
Hub by Premier Inn When it comes to anything travel related, fast-track is always a popular option. So when we were asked to work on a project to deliver new fast track, self-service kiosks to be trailed at the ‘Hub by Premier Inn’ Covent Garden, we jumped at the challenge. Using Corian Venaro White and Anthracite, We had to deliver an extremely bespoke and intricate design including 3D thermoforming, CNC machining and of course, hand finishing. Working with other contractors we were able to deliver a series of prototypes in order to achieve the perfect design to work aesthetically and practically. The finished article? Stylish, easy to use, self-service kiosks to make checking-in and getting your room key a speedy process. No more queuing at reception desks! Request a quote
Corian Everest Kitchen with Bespoke Table Top This bold painted blue shaker kitchen needed a contrasting worktop to really set it off. Mr & Mrs Height chose Corian Everest with a 38mm fascia. They opted for a Corian 970 sink with a set of drainer grooves, up and over window sill, watersafe edge, hob bar boards and a 50mm coved upstand. They also decided to have a bespoke table top made out of Corian Blueberry Ice with an Everest inlay round the edges on the top and on the side. The overall result is unique and fresh yet timeless. Here’s what Mr & Mrs Height had to say….. “Having embarked on a project to renew our Kitchen, we first investigated Quartz worktops. We also looked into Corian, which we expected to be much more expensive. This was not the case however! When we contacted DFMK the quote was returned very promptly and the price was very competitive. The service we received was very good, professional and friendly. We decided to have Corian for the worktop, sink, windowsill and 50mm coving. DFMK carried out an accurate template and installed the worktop, keeping us informed throughout the whole process. The fitters came in at the time agreed and with minimal disruption fitted the worktop, sink and associated parts, perfect fit first time, Fantastic! We also decided to have our Kitchen table covered in Corian with a circular strip inserted around the edge (a suggestion from Simon at DFMK) which has made the table very bespoke and personalised. Again the job was completed and delivered on time, and to the price agreed. I cannot stress too much how good it was not to have any problems and to deal with a professional service, which DFMK certainly are.” Mr & Mrs Height.
Corian Glacier White Kitchen If there’s one thing we love, it’s doing curved worktops! These guys wanted something a little different so opted for an 80mm fascia. Made in Corian Glacier White with integrated sinks, there really was no other material for this worktop to achieve sleek clean lines without any visible joins. Customer Testimonial ‘When designing our bespoke kitchen a curved worktop was required to finish off the overall look. DFMK worked alongside us throughout the build making sure the entire kitchen maintained the ‘WOW’ factor. Nothing seemed to be a problem, in fact, their input and expertise was invaluable to the project and their professionalism and friendly attitude refreshing. We would highly recommend DFMK to anyone.’ Toni Startin & Mark Lemon
Chic Apartment Refurb When this customer moved in to her new central London apartment, she was less than enthused by the standard, builders spec kitchen. This is a great example of Corian worktops being added to and re-used. The customer had existing Corian Glacier White worktops. We extended the depth of the peninsular section and added some other sections where needed. We also inserted some drainer grooves and created a stunning backlit splashback. The transformation resulted in a much more practical use of space and a much more inspiring design suited to modern city living. Customer Testimonial: I am a firm believer in singing praises where they are due – and Deeley Fabrications definitely deserve praises sung. We were re-modeling a kitchen, and wanted to extend our existing Corian worktop, and add surfaces elsewhere. I also wanted to try an LED splashback, a bit of an unknown, and which turned out to be FAB. From my first contact to the final result, James had a can-do attitude, and everything went smoothly and to plan, working around the team fitting the kitchen. I can¹t thank them all enough.
The Royal Quarter Café The owner of this café was so pleased with our work on this project that he treated us to a slap up meal at his restaurant (the bread and butter pudding is incredible!) We had to be incredibly flexible with this installation, working with (and sometimes amongst and underneath!) all other tradesmen on site as we had to work to a very tight deadline! Completed using Corian® Glacier White and Silver Grey. We also provided the oak veneer open units and a section of bespoke cabinetry, cupboard inserts and handleless profile. Cladding the large, open fridges was a first for us but we rose to the challenge! The result is an extremely high end finish that reflects the values of the brand in a prestigious location in central London.
Kensington Close Hotel Health Club This is the kind of project that we love! When Vascroft Contractors sent the design through to us, we knew it was right up our street. We partially fabricated this at our factory, took the reception area down to site in pieces, and completed manufacturing on site in order to achieve inconspicuous joins. The material used was HIMACS Arctic White. Along with the reception desk, we supplied the curved back desk, door fronts, towel rack and also HIMACS surrounds to the merchandising displays.
Guildhall School of Music & Drama Working in conjunction with Sir Robert McAlpine, Lindner and RHWL Architects, this is one of the biggest projects that we have done. It involved cladding the inside and outside stair treads of four sets of stairwells in HIMACS Fiery Red and Alpine White, 7 stories high! But that wasn’t all….. we were also tasked with cladding all the balcony façades and numerous bulkheads. The idea was to create surfaces that would never require painting in order to reduce long term costs and increase the environmental credentials of the building. Furthermore, a lot of the areas that were cladded, wouldn’t be accessible once the building was completed. The end result has brought the architects vision to life with a striking and practical solution.
Crystal Palace Football Club 2010 Club Bar When we were asked to quote for this bar and cloakroom desk, we were a little confused as we knew that it was only 4 weeks away from their first game of the season…. So the challenge was on to design, fabricate and fully install the bar in time for the opening game of the season! We didn’t have time to have the cabinetry made so we decided to make the whole thing from Corian®. The colour chosen was Glacier White and we had to integrate lighting as well as include glass and mirrors in elements of the bar. The bar had to look the part but also had to be practical and easy to clean. The installation had to consider everything required for the bar to operate smoothly and look incredible. Our clients were very happy that we managed to do all this….. and in time for the opening game of the season.
