About the role

We are currently recruiting a full-time Solid Surface Sander/Finisher to join our growing team.

Our Solid Surface Sander/Finisher role would ideally suit someone already in the trade, however we are always happy to consider candidates with transferrable skills.

Sand/Finish/Package/Palletise a range of products, including, but not restricted to – Kitchen worktops, Wash troughs, Receptions Desks, Bars, Wall Cladding and much more.

Personal Specification:

• Confident in using hand tools.
• Punctual and reliable
• Physically fit and able to manually handle sheet material.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to proactively support other team members.
• High attention to detail to ensure quality standards are achieved whilst also being efficient to deliver work on time.
• Demonstrate excellent housekeeping by keeping working areas clean, tidy, organised and efficient.
• Aware of health and safety requirements and able to maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow procedures and instructions on paperwork and from the workshop manager to ensure your work is manufactured according to fabrication guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with the rest of the factory, Technical Manager and Production Manager to ensure everyone is kept up to date with potential issues.
• Ensure that you, and people that you are working with, adhere to health and safety policies, procedures and precautions identified by risk assessments.
• Agree and work towards, targets set to you by management.
• Highlight any areas where targets may not be met.

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a skilled Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team.

About the role

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about precision engineering and eager to contribute and refine their skills in a collaborative working environment.

Are you a skilled Solid Surface Fabricator? We want to hear from you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and fabricating bespoke solid surface designs. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Duties

• Manufacture bespoke Solid Surface items.
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacture template drawings.
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to all aspects of works.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies or concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solid Surface Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand logic controllers and tooling systems.
• Experience in materials handling and warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

As we continue to expand, we’re offering two individuals the opportunity to join our team as Trainee Fabricators.

About the role

In this junior position, no prior experience is necessary — just bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. As a Trainee Fabricator, you’ll work hands-on with various products, including kitchen worktops, wash troughs, reception desks, bars, wall cladding, and more. This is your chance to develop valuable skills in a supportive working environment.
